A health technology company was experiencing scaling issues, which hindered them from onboarding larger healthcare providers, resulting in leaving milliones of dollars on the table. 

ThorTech, a cloud architecture consulting firm and AWS Consulting Partner was brought in to help the healthcare contract management company improve its system’s performance and scalability. 

ThorTech helped the company by supplementing their team of 19-20 Clojure engineers, acting as development managers, and providing expertise in AWS technologies, specifically Lambda and Elasticache using Redis.

In strategizing with the customer and outlining a proof of concept, ThorTech was able to tackle the challenge. Monthly checkpoints were provided until milestones were achieved. ThorTech’s lead architect ensured consistency with the brand’s products, assisted with the initial design, and provided feedback to the team as they made improvements. As a result of ThorTech’s efforts, the customer’s contract capacity was increased from 20,000 to 150,000.
