Technical Project Manager

We're looking for a Technology Product Manager with a track record of managing projects that deliver within time and budget, an ability to follow a strategic vision, and experience working with technology groups ensuring the execution of these plans. The Technology Product Manager will assume responsibility for one or more internal software products. The Technology Product Manager is the primary contact to the business owner and works to ensure both the health of the software product and the satisfaction of their business owner partners.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Supporting the vision and direction of business owners
  • Translating customer needs into high level requirements with associated business case and impact analysis
  • Developing and implementing long-term strategic goals, roadmaps, and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining software products and their associated feature base
  • Ensuring fulfillment of user requirements and identifying and leads resolutions of issues
  • Monitoring the evaluation, development / integration, and deployment of solutions
  • Working with Support to develop / communicate a plan for defect prioritization, feature implementation, call resolution, and establishing of service level agreements
  • Ensuring software products meet business requirements and goals

Position Requirements:

  • Strong Agile Delivery Project Management experience
  • Must have formal SDLC Methodology and being exposed to more than one in order to help select the best SDLC tools
  • Demonstrates a passion for delivering complete solutions that provide a great user experience and deliver real measurable value
  • Must have a proven track record of driving projects through to successful, on-time completion
  • Is experienced in obtaining and synthesizing feedback from various sources, assessing root needs, and integrating into a cohesive solution
  • Is a team player and who can collaborate and build consensus within cross-functional areas
  • Has exceptional leadership skills; must establish credibility within teams as a knowledgeable, effective leader who knows where software products are today and where they need to go
  • Must possess good leadership and communications skills
  • Is comfortable in highly visible roles both on the technology and the business side
  • Experience with building/hiring a team to work under him/her
  • This person needs to be able to gain consensus and buy in
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial approach, Team player with high energy-can do attitude
  • Strong focus on results and quality
  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree, Masters preferred
